The Crew

Skelly

Having spent much of the past decade in one or several crises himself, Skelly has now taken an interest in the very nature of crisis — how it manifests and functions.

It is his learned conviction that by understanding and exploring crisis through art, we will be better equipped to navigate it when we encounter it.

Lucas Brookwood

As the queer son of two Mexican immigrants, Lukas learned from an early age how crisis can manifest from forces outside of their control. Lucas has navigated their own crises by creatively engaging in acting and music production for over 15 years.

Now, after completing their Theatre Arts degree at the University of Minnesota, Lucas is utilizing their acquired skills to bring Skelly’s vision to life.

Together, they hope their collaboration will encourage compassion and reduce the stigma behind coping with crisis.

Carlos Kelley

Carlos is a Paraguayan-American filmmaker, musician, language teacher, and writer.

As an adoptee, Carlos faced a crisis of identity, and searched for answers in language and art. There were only more questions.

Carlos and the Point of Crisis crew invite you to ask these questions together with us.
